Lord, I have done a lot of running this week, but much of it was not for you. I have run in a lot of circles because I failed to organize my days in prayer. I have run down a lot of dead end streets because I was not following the Spirit’s leadership. I have run in loneliness because I was not running for love of others. I have run with a sense of heaviness because I was running under my own power. For the sake of Jesus, forgive me and help me to find the right track for my life. Let running become joy-filled again, and let me praise you as I run. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the greatest runner of all. Amen.
