Discussion Questions print version:
- Name a time recently when some food went rotten, moldy, or bad. Why did it happen? Was anyone to blame?
- Read Gen 6:5-14. What are the words that describe the people in Noah’s day? What are the words that describe Noah? What words might God use to describe you?
- Why do you think Noah found favor in the eyes of God (Genesis 6:8)?
- What daily and small act of obedience might God be nudging you to start, re-start, or stop?
Confession: Dear Heavenly Father, every day we see the sin and decay of this fallen and broken world. Jesus, we ask that you forgive us for all the ways that we ignore the sin and decay inside of our own lives with our thoughts, words, and actions. Cleanse us white as snow. Help us see ourselves as you see us, that we might be who you are calling us to be. Amen.
