Day by day this Advent, we’ve made room to slow down, listen, and lift our eyes to the Light that began shining long before Bethlehem. We reflected on the gift of Jesus, the Word who was with God and was God, the Light no darkness can overcome.

Advent teaches us to wait with expectation and to trust that the Light is still breaking into every shadow of our lives.

And now, on Christmas Day, the waiting turns to wonder! The promise becomes a Person. The Word becomes flesh. Love becomes visible.

Let’s pray together:

Jesus, Light of the world, on this holy day we marvel again that You are God with us, not in power or spectacle, but in humility, wrapped in flesh and laid in a manger. Thank You for drawing near, for shining Your unquenchable light into our darkness, and for filling our waiting with hope.

As we celebrate Your birth, quiet our hearts with the peace You bring, and awaken us to the joy only You can give.

May Your presence guide our steps, Your love shape our lives, and Your light shine through us into the places that still long for hope.

Jesus, we worship You, the Word made flesh, the Light no darkness can overcome, our Savior and our King.
