Why Small Groups?
Small groups are at the core of who we are at Shepherd. Why? Because God designed us for community, knowing that spiritual growth and life change happen best when we are connected. Jesus himself modeled this by ‘doing life together’ with his own small group.
Small groups are regular gatherings of three or more people, meeting throughout the week at various times and locations, in person and virtually. Groups exist to help people connect relationally and grow spiritually. They help us form significant Christian relationships centered on the study and application of God’s Word.
Reasons to join a small group:
1. Grow spiritually as you understand the Bible better through group discussion and personal application.
2. Develop meaningful relationships with others who will offer encouragement, prayer, and support as you do life together.
3. It’s fun!
