We’re excited to partner with you in raising your children to follow Jesus!

sovKids is available Sundays at the 9:15 and 10:45am services in person or online anytime. We plan a full hour for your children that includes Bible stories, songs, games, crafts, and, best of all, time to pray and connect with your child’s small group.

New families are welcome every Sunday, but if you know you will be joining us for the first time, preregister by clicking the button below and we’ll be ready for you!

What age does my child need to be to attend sovKids?

sovKids is split into 4 age groups: Nursery (6 weeks to 3 years old), Spark (3 years old to Kindergarten) Surge (Grades 1-3) and Current (Grade 4-5).

What is the mission of sovKids?

At sovKids we want to partner with families in connecting kids to Christ so they will know him as their Savior, seek His will for their lives and share with others His good news.

What can I expect when I arrive for the first time?

When arriving at sovKids you will register your child at the guest check-in in the Student Wing, where a team member can assist you. They will check-in your child and print off their nametags. You will receive two name tags, one for your child to wear and one to present when picking your child up after service. A team member will then show you to your child’s class for the morning.

How do I know my child is safe at sovKids?

We keep it safe at sovKids and have security present at all times. All persons entering the sovKids environments are either serving as a Volunteer or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all Volunteers are background and reference checked before they serve.

PRAYER

“Dear Jesus, thank You for taking good care of us. The little boy in the Bible gave You his small lunch, and You turned it into a huge feast! Help us remember that no gift is too small to share. Teach our hearts to be generous and help us share our toys, snacks, and smiles with others this week. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

TALK ABOUT THE BIBLE STORY

First read the week’s Bible story. Then discuss these questions:

The Disciples vs. The Boy: “When the disciples looked at the huge crowd, they only saw a problem that was too big to solve. But the young boy simply brought what he had. Have you ever felt like you were ‘too small’ or had ‘too little’ to help someone in a big situation?”

Small Offerings, Big God:

“Five loaves of bread and two small fish wasn’t anywhere near enough to feed 5,000 people on its own. What is a ‘small gift’ you have—like 5 minutes of time, an encouraging note, or a dollar from your Giving Box—that Jesus can multiply to bless someone else?”

Notice the Leftovers:

“After everyone ate until they were full, there were 12 whole baskets of leftovers! What does this story teach us about how God cares for us? Does He give us ‘just enough’ or ‘more than enough’?”

Putting It Into Action:

“Look at your Generosity Box or Generosity Bingo card today. What is one specific way our family can take a ‘small lunch’ moment this week and hand it over to Jesus to help a neighbor or friend?”

PRAYER

Use this prayer as a guide, either after talking about the Bible story or sometime before bed tonight:

“Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God of abundance who gives us more than enough. It’s easy to look at what we have—our time, our skills, or the money in our Giving Boxes—and think it’s too small to make a real difference. But just like Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed a massive crowd, we know You can take our small offerings and do big things. Give our family the faith to bring You whatever we have and say, ‘Here I am.’ In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
