- Gentleness or meekness is sometimes associated with weakness. Yet, the original word means strength under control. What example comes to your mind that fits that description? (e.g. animals, athletes)
- Read, compare, and contrast Genesis 4:22-24 and Philippians 2:5-7a. How have you seen strength used to elevate oneself or put someone down?
- Take an inventory of the strengths and wide variety of assets God has given you (e.g. intelligence, humor, organizational skills, your home, words).
- How might you consider leveraging your strengths to be used to reflect God’s love into the world?
