We grow spiritually when we serve others, putting their needs above our own. Mission trips are one of the best ways to get out of the norm and love God and our neighbors by showing care. In fact, Shepherd has been sending teams to Roatan for 20 years this year!

Registration is now open for our upcoming mission trip to our mission partner Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries in Roatan, Honduras on February 19-26, 2027.

Trip cost is being finalized but it will be around $600 + airfare. *Please do not buy flights until you have been approved by the team leader(s).

Anyone interested in participating in a Shepherd mission trip must read the following and complete the necessary forms. Your answers on this form will be confidential and will be reviewed by the team leader(s) and Shepherd of the Valley’s Serving Coordinator. Application closes October 19.

Important information for applicants to know:

• There is a limited amount of space on this trip, therefore submitting an application does not imply approval
• Each participant must complete and pass a background check as well as ministry safe training (email instructions will be provided)
• Each participant must attend trainings prior to the trip on 11/15, 12/6, 1/10, 1/31,  2/14 (commissioning)
• Each participant is required to pay a participant fee and purchase their own flight (after approval)
• A team leader may contact an applicant to set up a brief meeting prior to approval
